Following the winter break and with the opening round of the BTRC fast approaching we are delighted to announce the names of the twenty drivers that will participate

at all seven race events in the 2022 BritishTruck Racing Championship.

A few points of clarification.

It is with great sadness that due to the 20-truck track limit and the

limited amount of track time available for the 2022 season, we have not been able

to accommodate all the competitors that wanted to join the BTRC this season.

Throughout the winter we have been exploring an increase on that 20-truck track

limit, but have not been successful in securing an increase from Motorsport UK.

Going forward and due to the overwhelming interest received for this season,

the promoters and organisers are working hard to secure more track time

for the 2023 season, but this was not possible for 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt, both BTRC divisions will race together on the same grid in 2022,

As they have done for the past two seasons.

Finally, all driver applicants that that completed their BTRC entry and paid in full and on time, were

given fair and full consideration to participate. We are really sorry that we couldn’t take

everyone, but we hope to explore possible solutions to get as many people racing as possible.
