What You Need To Know: Snetterton 300 – September 17/18

The British Truck Racing Championship reaches the business end of the 2022 season this weekend (September 17/18) as the titans of truck racing set course for Snetterton.

Before the BTRC descends on the Norfolk venue’s 300 layout, here’s the full guide to make sure you don’t miss any of the action from what promises to be a pivotal weekend in the destiny of deciding who will be crowned champion.

ENTRY LIST

Blockbuster action is never far away when it comes to the heavyweight behemoths of the BTRC and this weekend looks to be no different as the 20-truck grid revs up to write the latest chapter in what has been a fascinating campaign.

As the series finale draws ever-closer, six-time reigning champion Ryan Smith finds himself in the box seat at the summit of the Division 1 standings whilst Luke Garrett remains out front amongst the Division 2 runners.

PAYING TRIBUTE

Everyone at Truck Sport UK and the British Truck Racing Championship was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September.

As a mark of respect, and to recognise Queen Elizabeth’s life and service, this weekend’s race meeting will pause for a two-minute silence on Saturday at 12:50 and Sunday at 14:25.

Live, uninterrupted coverage of the British Truck Racing Championship will continue at Snetterton this weekend with all five races being streamed for free on the British Automobile Racing Club YouTube channel.

TICKETS

Tickets to the event will be available to purchase on the gate across the weekend, priced at £18 on Saturday and £25 on Sunday. Children 13 and under are admitted for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
