The opening round of the BTRC on the 25th 26th March at Brands Hatch is fast approaching. For many of the teams the Friday test session will be the first shake down test of the season and the first opportunity to show if their winter investments and modifications are to give them an advantage over their fellow competitors.
Several teams have already made it known of their equipment changes and modifications, alternatively many teams are keeping any changes and or modifications a close guarded secret. Without doubt it will be very interesting to see what new and modified machinery turns up in the paddock on the Friday morning at Brands Hatch.
Because of the recent growth in both classes within the BTRC, an action packed eight race schedule is planned for the opening round this is to accommodate close to thirty truck race teams that have committed to attend. Due to the healthy entry, the race action will no doubt be plentiful and as always be very sure to entertain.
As well as the full support race programme at Brands Hatch, TRUCK SPORT UK have again organised a Show Truck display and competition, also included will be the season opener of the exclusive Show League Trophy competition (enter via: www.btrc.co).
For those who are not able to attend, TRUCK SPORT UK have organised for the race action to be, for the first time, recorded in HD and shown many times in the following weeks on SKY’s MOTORS TV as well as many other Free-View channels.
We look forward to bringing you the BTRC news throughout the season and hope that you find it informative.
